Earlier this week, there was an interruption in the availability of some AutoDesk network licenses because their expiration date had been reached.
The next day, the two main programs Inventor Pro and AutoCAD were available again in versions 2025 and 2026.
Meanwhile, the campus license must be licensed and provided separately for each program in each version each year. This deployment cannot be automated and requires a high level of organizational effort. We will therefore only provide the standard programs with the highest usage rates, such as Inventor Pro and AutoCAD, for the latest two versions without request by the end of 2027, in case AutoDesk continues to offer them in their current free form and licensing.
If you need other programs from the AutoDesk portfolio, please submit a request to LUIS Support in a timely manner.
According to AutoDesk, from 2028 there will no longer be any shareable network licenses, but only named user licenses. The LUIS will in time examine the terms of use and a possible switch to personal licenses via WebSSO.
