Printing Service – Service Description

LUIS operates a professional, centralized printing service for large formats and DIN A3/A4. Printers with different technologies and output formats are available for printing on paper and film (depending on the printer).

Files to be printed can be submitted on-site. Payment for the printing job can be made on-site using the LeibnizCard or MensaCard. For institutes and other facilities, there is the option to place print orders via a "Webshop." The costs are then automatically recharged to the cost centers specified in the order.

Only PDF/X (Portable Document Format), reference program Adobe, is accepted as the print format. Printing orders are processed from Monday to Thursday between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and on Friday between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, and can then be collected at LUIS.

Additional Services and Areas of Application for the Printing Service
After receiving appropriate instruction, you have access to various cutting machines for self-service.

Additionally, we offer a PC with a range of graphic programs that allow you to further edit your printing materials.

The applications of our printing service are diverse. Our services are particularly well-suited for text and graphic output, such as the production of dissertations, theses, and institutional papers. Furthermore, we provide the option to produce large-format, colour prints in high to the highest quality to meet your specific requirements.

Ricoh C7200S Print Line:
- Format: A3 / A4 / SRA3
- Resolution 1200 dpi, up to 85 pages/minute
