Print file creation

Depending on the initial program used for layout creation, the PDF generated from the program may contain elements in its structure that are not relevant to the print output and can interfere with the printing process.

This poses the risk

  • that the print file is faulty,
  • contains non-interpretable code,
  • leads to issues in further processing on the RIP system,
  • is unprintable,
  • or results in a faulty printout.

A solution is provided by generating a print file with the PosterJet printer driver.

This ensures that the created print file contains no unnecessary elements and is optimized for the PosterJet RIP system.

For a smooth printing process, we recommend using the printer driver. Follow the instructions for installing the printer driver and creating the print file.

The PDF file generated from the print file can then be submitted via the webshop or in person at the LUIS print office.
