The LUIS promotes education about IT security risks and provides extensive information. As a further building block of prevention, the first awareness short film "Email Security" has now been released.

Phishing-Mails, CEO-Frauds (Verwendung falscher Identitäten, um Überweisung von Geld zu veranlassen), Abgreifen von Logindaten … – diesen Angriffen sind E-Mail-Nutzende auch an der LUH täglich ausgesetzt. Der Awareness-Kurzfilm „E-Mail Sicherheit“ möchte für dieses Thema sensibilisieren, zeigt beispielhaft, welche Methoden angewendet werden und gibt Hinweise, mit welchen Maßnahmen die Risiken minimiert werden können.

Phishing mails, CEO frauds (using false identities to transfer money), stealing login data ... - e-mail users at LUH are also exposed to these attacks on a daily basis. The awareness short film "E-Mail Security" aims to raise awareness of this topic, shows examples of the methods used and gives advice on how to minimize the risks.

The Information Security Staff of Leibniz Universität Hannover initiated the production of awareness short films. The films were commissioned and funded by LUIS. The production was done by ZQS/elsa. The coordinating body was the CIO office.
