Automatic logout

All files on the computer will be deleted after shutdown. You will be automatically logged out after 5 minutes of inactivity.

Internet

To open the web browser, click the globe icon at the bottom center of the screen in the menu bar, or go to Applications → Internet → Firefox.

USB flash drive

You can access USB flash drives and other storage devices from the desktop or via the left column in the file manager. Before removing the storage device, you must always safely eject it from the system by right-clicking → Safely Remove in the same location, as failure to do so may result in data loss. 

Printing

You have 200 free pages available per semester. If pages are not used up during the semester, they expire and are not carried over to the next semester.
Only black-and-white A4 printing is available.
To print double-sided, go to Page Setup in the print dialog and select either Long Edge (default) or Short Edge (Flip) under Double-sided Long Edge is used for A4 in portrait orientation, and Short Edge for A4 in landscape orientation.
