OpenProject

All users of the Projektablage who have been granted access to this IT-service in a project space via the administration interface.

For accessing OpenProject, open the page https://pm.projekt.uni-hannover.de is your in a web browser. A login dialogue appears, which can be used to log in using your credentials for the Projektablage.

In OpenProject, the individual functionalities are organised in modules. The following modules are activated Projektablage:

• Activity
• Work packages
• Backlogs
• Meeting management
• Agile boards
• Forums
• Gantt charts
• GitLab integration
• Calendar
• Team planner

Documentation on using the modules can be found on the manufacturer's website. These are linked in the above list of key points.

Because of the integration into the Projektablage, the following notes apply for working with OpenProject:

• User administration is carried out exclusively via the administration page of the project repository.
• Projects in OpenProject are set up automatically when the service is activated for a project space at the Projektablage. There is exactly one project in OpenProject per project space at the Projektablage.
• It is not possible to create sub-projects. If several projects are required in OpenProject, additional project spaces can be set up at the Projektablage instead and OpenProject in these project spaces.
• The e-mail addresses are used as the names of the project members.
• The function to make a project public is deactivated.

OpenProject's GitLab module enables integration with GitLab at the Projektablage. Software development organised in GitLab can thus be incorporated into project management in OpenProject by linking created merge requests to work packages.

For data protection reasons, the use of personal avatars is currently deactivated. Instead, a generic avatar symbol is used for all project members.
